Remember a few weeks back when I did a story on the Fort Walton Beach Police Department’s Winter Wonderland event?

This year’s toy drive saw over 1,000 people and collected over 700 toys! 

Here are the winners of the Pallet House Decorating Contest:

  • First place: The Polar Express Train, Community Policing Unit Fort Walton Beach Police Department.
  • Second place: Legoland, Crime Scene/Criminal Investigations Division of the Fort Walton Beach Police Department.
  • Third place: the “Puppy House”, Road Dogg Rescue and Charlie Shift of the Fort Walton Beach Police Department.

Officers dropped off 703 toys and $827 to the Emerald Coast Toys for Tots organization, which were donated during the event. All of the toys and monetary donations will go to benefit children within Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
