Free military appreciation lunch available at four Okaloosa restaurants on May 29

Cumulus Media Fort Walton Beach-Destin has partnered with Eglin Federal Credit Union to provide free lunch to current and former military service members on Thursday, May 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The 16th Military Appreciation Free Lunch will be available at four locations across Okaloosa County: Task Force Pizza in Fort Walton Beach, McAlister’s Deli in Crestview, and Hot Head Burritos locations in Mary Esther and Crestview.

  • Anyone who has served or is currently serving in the military can participate in the event.

CJ’s Hangout in Destin will also host a Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for those who have served the country.

The annual event represents a partnership between the local media company and the credit union to honor military service members in the area.
