A large brush fire was spotted Friday night on the south side of the Destin Bridge on Okaloosa Island. First responders worked to extinguish the blaze both on the ground and by boat.
“Great work with all trucks involved to get this under control,” the Destin Fire Control District wrote in a social media post.
The cause of the fire has not been released at this time.
