Man shot in altercation at Crestview gas station

Four armed individuals reportedly confronted the victim behind FLA Convenience Gas Station Sunday night, leading to non-life-threatening injuries as police seek information from witnesses.

A man suffered a gunshot wound to the lower torso during an altercation with four armed males behind a local gas station Sunday night, according to police.

  • The Crestview Police Department responded to FLA Convenience Gas Station at 698 North Ferdon Boulevard at approximately 8:30 p.m. on April 27 after receiving reports of a shooting.

Officers provided emergency first aid to the victim before he was transported to an area hospital. Police described his injuries as non-life-threatening.

According to authorities, the shooting occurred during a confrontation at the rear of the business where four males approached the victim with firearms and shot at him. The department’s Criminal Investigations Division is currently interviewing witnesses, reviewing evidence and working to identify the subjects involved in the incident.
