On Thursday, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported that a pedestrian was hit by a dump truck on Highway 98 near TerraMar Apartments in Santa Rosa Beach.

“One westbound lane of Highway 98 is closed near TerraMar Apartments,” wrote the WCSO.

As of 1pm, the Florida Highway Patrol was on-scene investigating the crash.

“Please use caution in the area at this time,” advised the WCSO.
