Fort Walton Beach-based technology company Bit-Wizards and co-parenting communication platform TalkingParents have once again demonstrated their creative prowess, earning eight ADDY Awards from the American Advertising Federation’s Pensacola Chapter in 2025.

  • The honors mark the 16th consecutive year the Fort Walton Beach based teams have received recognition in the prestigious advertising competition, which celebrates creative excellence and innovation across the industry nationwide.

This year’s haul included one Gold ADDY and seven Silver ADDY awards spanning print collateral, specialty advertising, out-of-home media and digital campaigns.

“Each project we submitted represents countless hours of collaboration and innovation that exemplify our teamwork, creativity and relentless pursuit of excellence,” said Heather Ruiz, director of marketing for Bit-Wizards and TalkingParents. “Winning these awards is a direct reflection of those efforts and the culture we pride ourselves on.”

Gold ADDY award

The team’s Gold ADDY went to the Okaloosa County School District Annual Report in the Sales & Marketing/Collateral Material/Printed Annual Report category. The project showcased the team’s ability to transform complex institutional information into engaging visual storytelling.

Silver ADDY awards

The seven Silver ADDY awards recognized work across multiple categories and clients:

  • The Gulf Coast Council Folder earned recognition in the brochure campaign category, while promotional materials for the Whiskey & War Stories event took home an award for special event material design. TalkingParents projects dominated the remaining Silver categories, with awards going to branded merchandise, core value posters and three district digital campaigns: the Storm Shelter Campaign, Chaos to Clarity Campaign and Control Campaign.

The TalkingParents Control Campaign also earned distinction in the Cross-Platform/Online/Interactive Campaign category, demonstrating the team’s ability to execute cohesive messaging across multiple digital channels.

The ADDY awards represent the advertising industry’s largest and most prestigious creative competition. Local winners advance to compete at the district level and can ultimately reach the national stage.

Ruiz noted the significance of being recognized among the region’s advertising professionals.

  • “It was an honor having the opportunity to share the stage with our peers, and we’re grateful to the AAF Pensacola Chapter and the judges for giving us a platform to celebrate these incredible achievements,” she said.

The award-winning projects can be viewed on Bit-Wizards website.
