Lady Vikings host Arnold tonight in 4A regional softball finals

The regional final begins at 7 p.m. at Fort Walton Beach High School, with the winner advancing in the Class 4A state tournament bracket.

The Fort Walton Beach varsity softball team will look to continue their postseason success when they host Panama City Beach’s Arnold High School tonight in the regional finals of the 2025 FHSAA Softball State Championships.

  • The Lady Vikings (20-8) earned their spot in tonight’s Class 4A regional final with a 4-3 victory over Columbia (Lake City) in Tuesday’s home playoff game, scoring the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Tonight’s matchup features two teams with impressive records.The Lady Vikings have been particularly dominant at home this season, posting a 14-5 record on their home field, and even beating Arnold in their last matchup on April 30 in extra innings (5-4).

The regional final begins at 7 p.m. at Fort Walton Beach High School, with the winner advancing in the Class 4A state tournament bracket.
