All Okaloosa County District schools are closed on Wednesday due to Hurricane Sally.

This includes school-based child care programs, all extracurricular activities, and mySchool Online scheduled sessions.

“We anticipate having school on Thursday,” said Superintendent Marcus Chambers. “However, due to the unpredictable nature of this storm, a final decision will not be made until tomorrow.”

Earlier on Tuesday, schools were cancelled for all of Santa Rosa County.
