The Okaloosa County School District is encouraging new students and families to register early as the first day of school approaches on Monday, Aug. 11.

  • The district emphasized the importance of early registration to ensure a smooth start to the academic year.

According to the School District, registering early enables students to begin the school year without delay and gives families more time to connect with teachers, learn about school procedures and get comfortable with their new environment.

“Early registration helps ensure a smooth start and gives students the best opportunity to be fully prepared and ready to learn from the very first day,” the district stated in a news release issued July 2.

  • The District noted that early registration ensures students are ready to learn and succeed from the first day of classes.

Families looking to begin the enrollment process can visit the district’s website at www.okaloosaschools.com/page/registration.
