Okaloosa orders curfew across the county following Hurricane Sally

The Okaloosa Board of County Commissioners Chairman Trey Goodwin has issued a curfew effective September 16, 2020.

This is effectively a one-night curfew across all of Okaloosa County.

This curfew will prohibit all travel within Okaloosa County with the exception of fire, law enforcement, EMS, utilities, public works or other authorized personnel.

“Our Public Works team will be going out and assessing damage on our roads in order to get us back to normal as quick as possible,” said Chris Saul, Okaloosa County PIO.

The curfew will be in effect throughout Okaloosa County from 9pm on September 16th, 2020 through 6am on Thursday, September 17th, 2020.

This curfew may be extended if necessary.
