Just because gyms were forced to closed due to COVID-19, doesn’t mean that the gains have to stop.

Okaloosa Quarantine Games is a fundraising fitness competition with the sole purpose of supporting local businesses that are now closed due to state mandates.

This is a run, row or bike competition beginning April 27-May 3 where each member of a 4-person team will complete at least 26.2 miles using any combination of the 3 options. That means that you can partition the marathon any way you would like. You just have to reach 26.2 miles. The first 3 teams to finish will be awarded prizes.

However, 26.2 is minimum that each team member must complete. There is also a category for the most distance that a team completes. Once your team completes the 26.2 miles and submits your final entry, you can go one to rack up more distance. The team with the most distance at the end of the 7-day competition will also win a prize.

So let’s talk prizes…

This competition is to support small businesses in Okaloosa County.

The first 3 teams to finish, along with the team who completes the most distance, will get to choose the local businesses they want to purchase gift cards from.

A few things to know…

“I sure hope he will change the hunting regulations and let us hunt during the week days this year.”
