Okaloosa County schools will remain open on Wednesday, October 28th.

“Based on the information provided, we are proceeding with a normal school day on Wednesday and do not anticipate any issues with after school bus transportation,” said the district in a press release.

Based on the forecast, all after-school activities for Wednesday have been canceled including after-school daycare at district school sites.

“We will continue to monitor updates as we receive them and notify you by callout later this evening if an unexpected change causes us to adjust tomorrow’s school schedule,” continued the District. “While it is not likely at this time, we cannot rule out the possibility of an early release from school tomorrow.”
