Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort has appointed Todd Felsen as its new vice president and managing director, the resort announced Monday.
Felsen, who assumed the role in May, will oversee all facets of resort operations at the 2,400-acre property, including accommodations, food and beverage, golf and marina operations, recreation programming, guest services, owner relations and capital improvement initiatives.
- He will also lead efforts to further enhance the resort experience and support Sandestin’s continued growth as a premier hospitality and leisure destination in the Southeast.
Felsen brings more than 30 years of hospitality leadership experience across branded, soft-branded and independent hospitality platforms. Prior to joining Sandestin, he worked with OTH Hotels Resorts and Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, where he led large-scale resort operations and strategic growth initiatives. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for building collaborative teams and driving operational excellence across resort properties.

Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort features more than 1,000 vacation accommodations across 70 neighborhoods, including Hotel Effie Sandestin, a 250-room luxury hotel, and Osprey Pointe, a collection of upscale vacation condominiums.
The resort also offers four championship golf courses, a 226-slip marina, more than seven miles of beaches and bayfront, more than 85,000 square feet of meeting and event space, tennis and pickleball facilities, seven restaurants, year-round programming and The Village of Baytowne Wharf.
