The Okaloosa County America 250 Commission has announced that country music artist Coffey Anderson will headline the America 250 Grand Parade and Celebration on May 9, 2026, in Crestview.

  • Anderson, known nationwide for his hit “Mr. Red, White, and Blue,” is a top performer in high demand for national, patriotic and faith-based events.

“We are very fortunate to have Coffey share his talent and patriotism at our Patriots’ Day events,” said Okaloosa County America 250 Chairman Graham W. Fountain. “He reminds us of what being a modern Patriot is all about and certainly exemplifies what the American dream is all about for so many Americans today.”

A native of Bangs, Texas, Anderson has used his music to honor members of the armed forces around the globe. After 13 service members were killed in the 2021 Kabul bombing, Anderson attended and sang “Mr. Red, White, and Blue” at 10 of their funerals at his own expense.

  • Anderson has focused much of his career on events that support U.S. military branches and is an active partner with the Military Warriors Support Foundation.

He is also known for his Netflix series “Country Ever After” and has performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville seven times since his debut there in 2022. Anderson has built a large social media following on Facebook, TikTok and Instagram, has nearly 700,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and has drawn more than 100 million viewers on his YouTube channel.

A singer, writer, musician and producer, Anderson has recorded 12 albums spanning the Christian, country and patriotic genres. He was a finalist on American Idol in 2003 and competed on the sixth season of Nashville Star. His other hits include “Can’t Spell Hero Without Her,” “Memphis,” “Southern Man,” “I Want to be Your Cowboy” and “Rock and Roll Sallie.”

Anderson will join local musicians on stage for the pre-parade celebration at 1 p.m. at the Okaloosa County Courthouse and will ride in the Grand Parade, which begins at 4 p.m. on Main Street in Crestview.

Immediately after the parade, Anderson will join the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution for the planting of the Liberty Tree and the dedication of the Revolutionary War America 250 bench at the Okaloosa County veterans monument.
