Cox Communications invites nonprofits to apply for community grants

Cox Communications announced nonprofit organizations can apply for Cox Charities grants through June 30, focusing on STEAM education, inclusion and sustainability initiatives.

Cox Communications has opened applications for its annual Cox Charities grants, inviting nonprofit organizations to apply through the company’s website by Monday, June 30, 2025.

  • The grants are funded entirely by Cox employees through recurring payroll deductions and one-time gifts.Β

An employee committee selects the recipients based on alignment with three key focus areas: youth innovation programs centered on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), inclusion and conservation and sustainability initiatives.

“What makes these grants special is that they are both employee-funded and awarded based on selections made by an employee committee,” said David Deliman, market vice president of Cox Gulf Coast. “The significant impact of Cox Charities reflects our employees’ dedication to our communities and the strong partnerships we’ve established with local nonprofits.”

The Cox Charities grants are separate from regular Cox sponsorship grants provided to local Gulf Coast nonprofit organizations for event support. According to the company, the program aims to strengthen communities and help future generations live happier, more prosperous lives.

Organizations interested in applying can find more information at www.CoxCharitiesne.org. The application deadline is June 30.
