Eglin Air Force Base to close Highway 85 and State Road 123 for testing Friday

The 96th Test Wing will conduct testing on the Eglin Test Complex, requiring closure of two major roadways for up to 90 minutes.

Highway 85 and State Road 123 will close Friday, August 15, as the 96th Test Wing conducts testing on the Eglin Test Complex.

The closures will occur between 9 a.m. and noon, though the roads should not remain closed for more than 90 minutes total. The roads may close for several periods within the three-hour timeframe.

The 96th Test Wing has not specified the nature of the testing that requires the road closures.
