The former command chief of Air Force Special Operations Command was found guilty Thursday of producing child pornography and three other criminal offenses following a general court-martial at Hurlburt Field.
- Chief Master Sgt. Anthony Green was convicted of four offenses in violation of two articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice: indecent recording under Article 120c, and possessing, viewing and producing child pornography under Article 134, according to a release from the AFSOC Public Affairs Office.
A military judge presided over the trial, which ran Sept. 14–17 at the Okaloosa County installation.
Green was sentenced to 10 years of confinement for producing child pornography and two years each for indecent recording, possessing child pornography and viewing child pornography. All sentences will run concurrently. He was also reduced in rank to the grade of E-1 and given a dishonorable discharge.
Green was acquitted of an obstructing justice charge.
The offenses were committed on or near Hurlburt Field against one victim, according to the command.
The Department of the Air Force Office of Special Trial Counsel preferred and referred the charges to a general court-martial and served as lead counsel for the prosecution.
In a statement, AFSOC said it is “committed to the welfare of our Airmen and maintaining good order and discipline to preserve the trust placed in us to execute our critical global missions.”

By pleading not guilty, he essentially forced his victim to testify, that alone is reprehensible.
Justice has been served. This person deserves to lose everything he worked his whole life to accomplish.
Disgusting that he was only sentenced to 10 years! He has likely ruined the children’s lives. It is very difficult for anyone to get over something like that and to think what he received as punishment is basically a slap on the wrist. He should’ve been sentenced to life in prison or if I had my way it would be death or castration plus a life sentence.
I bet there are victims everywhere he has been stationed. He should have received the death penalty!
