Fort Walton Beach Christmas Parade rescheduled to Dec. 2 due to rain forecast

Fort Walton Beach has moved its annual Christmas parade from Monday to Tuesday evening due to forecasted rain. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Fort Walton Beach has rescheduled its Christmas parade to Tuesday due to forecasted rain.

  • The parade, originally set for Monday evening, will now take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2. The route will begin at the intersection of Eglin Parkway and First Street, continue north on Eglin Parkway and end at Hughes Street.

This year’s theme is “Zoo Animals.” Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and add decorations, though real animals are not permitted. Pets attending must be kept on a leash.

Spectators can gather along Eglin Parkway to watch the parade. Eglin Parkway will close to vehicle traffic prior to the start of the event.
