Okaloosa County schools to host 6th annual college and career fair in Fort Walton Beach

The March 3 event at Beachside Community Church will bring together juniors and seniors from four local high schools with college and career vendors.

The Okaloosa County School District and Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation are inviting local businesses, organizations and agencies to participate in the 6th Annual College and Career Fair on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Beachside Community Church in Fort Walton Beach.

  • The event provides high school students across Okaloosa County with the opportunity to explore postsecondary options, career pathways and workforce opportunities directly from professionals in the field. Juniors and seniors from Choctawhatchee, Destin, and Niceville high schools will attend.

For the past five years, community partners have played a role in helping students connect classroom learning with real-world careers.

“We are grateful for the continued support of our business and community partners who invest their time and expertise in our students,” said John Spolski, executive director of the Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation. “This event allows students to explore possibilities, ask questions, and begin envisioning their future.”

Participating organizations will have the opportunity to engage with students, share information about career opportunities, education and training pathways, and help inspire the next generation of Okaloosa County’s workforce.

  • Organizations interested in reserving a space can register online here.

Vendor set-up will be available Monday, March 2, from 12:00-4:00 p.m. or Tuesday, March 3, from 7:00-8:00 a.m. Vendors are asked to park at Choctawhatchee High School and use the walkway to enter Beachside Community Church, located at 200 Racetrack Road Northwest. Cones and signage will be displayed to guide participants.

The foundation will provide tables for vendors to display materials, including promotional items, pamphlets and handouts. Volunteers will be available to assist vendors as needed.
