Northwest Florida State College announced Tuesday the return of its Kids on Campus summer program for 2025, offering educational and recreational activities for children entering grades 3rd through 7th.

  • The program, which takes place on the college’s Niceville campus, will run during two separate weeklong sessions: June 23-27 and July 7-11.

“This program offers kids the perfect balance of serious and fun,” said Rhonda Springfield, executive director of K-12 Programs. “It gives them a chance to experience a college atmosphere while participating in exciting classes and activities designed just for them.”

Kids on Campus combines academic enrichment with hands-on experiences in a college environment. The program offers classes in athletics, art, music, dance and science.

Classes are offered in 1.5-hour increments, Monday through Friday for each weeklong session.

  • Online registration is now open, with officials noting that space is limited and spots typically fill quickly.

Families interested in the program can find more information or register here. They can also contact the program team directly at 850-729-6085 or koc@nwfsc.edu. A full program brochure is available here.
