Eglin Air Force Base schedules munitions burn for Sept. 3

The 96th Test Wing will conduct a munitions burn north of Fort Walton Beach, with residents potentially seeing smoke between 6 and 8 a.m.

The 96th Test Wing will conduct a munitions burn on the Eglin Test and Training Complex north of Fort Walton Beach on Sept. 3.

  • Area residents may see a plume of smoke between 6 and 8 a.m. during the scheduled burn.
